Left hand injection - HELP

Postby Bigdog4all » Wed Oct 25, 2023 10:23 am

I a gonna try injections again after a couple years. I am right handed an I was shooting on the right side only. So a slight curved was produced. My Uro said verbally to switch sides every other time. But I am RIGHT handed and easy to shot on the right side. Now is it is......Are there any videos on HOW to inject on the LEFT side when you are RIGHT handed? I am not good with my left had.....aiming, little shaky, sticking the correct spot, etc....so what are you RIGHT hand only people doing?

Wish I could give you a hint. Had the same issue when I was injecting. Even though I was using an auto-injector reaching over was awkward. Think in the 2-3 years I injected I used the left side maybe a dozen times, and some of those were failures. No issues with scarring or curving but I had a bruise that stayed for 3 years.

i am right handed and for me, the left side is harder to get a good injection spot because i have a large vein that runs down the side. all my misfires have happened on the left side but i do it the same way as i do my right. the big thing that helped me was to use a VED to plump up. that helps a ton in finding a good clean spot and makes it easier to feel the puncture of the layer of skin and the layer of the cavernosa. yes, there is a little bit of pain, but its a small amount. after i have plumped up, i get the syringe in my left hand holding it kind of like a pen. after finding a good open and smooth spot, i gently put the needle against the skin. i push through the first layer and then the second. once it is in, i release the grip and slowly aspirate to ensure i am in the right spot. once i see the blood enter the needle, i push on the plunger and yes, still to this day, my hands shake. once all the trimix is in, i pull it out as fast and apply pressure. it takes time and practice and you have to go into it with the thought that it may not work. for me, it always takes longer for the medicine to start working on the left side but still works. hope this helps.

I'm definitely right handed but I do both sides. It gets easier with practice.

I'm right handed and it does get better with practice. I stand when injecting and pull my penis with my left hand to the right...and then I can get kind of underneath my left arm with my right arm and inject.

I am right handed and have never injected with my left hand holding the needle.
TBH, injecting with the right hand on the left side of the penis is not that big of a deal - you just have to hold your penis to the right (lay it on your right leg, ideally), hold it's tip with your left hand and kinda cross your hands. With your right hand you'll have to kinda hold the syringe "upside down" so that the needle is pointing RIGHT instead of LEFT. Considering the best injecting sites seem to be aroudn 2-3 o'clock, that translates to 10-11 on the other side - the angle is not that extreme on your hand, it's on the top side of your penis so it should be fine.

I'm definitely right handed. And yes injecting the left side with my left hand is awkward but it is doable and it does get easier with practice. The first fair number of times were VERY awkward but not nearly so much now. You can learn to use your left hand. However, I doubt it will ever feel completely natural.

Agree with bldolnk. It gets easier with practice, and I suggest practicing every day with a used syringe in your left and a same-as-you-size carrot in your right.

As mentioned it got easier for me as well with practice. I'm strongly right handed but when I inject on my left side, I put the device in my left hand, wrap my right hand around my cock and lightly hold it in place as I push the needle it. Makes me feel a lot more stable and now it's kind of a habit to do it that way.

Tried and failed at my first left- side injection yesterday. Between trembling hands and extreme shrinkage I think I ended up using a spot too close to the 12:00 o’clock position. Ended up with only a chubby. Also had a bit of pain when I inserted the needle if that is indicative of hitting wrong location. I’m going to need to work on avoiding shrinkage and dealing with the belly fat making this more difficult.
