Is it possible for Trimix to just stop working out of nowhere ?

Postby Jackstraw » Sun Jun 11, 2023 8:22 am

So question. I’m pretty new to this. I’ve had 10 consecutive successes. Most recent being last Sunday. So this weekend I had a misfire yesterday. It didn’t feel right going in and when I pulled needle out it was at a 90 degree angle. I tried again this morning. I thought I injected properly. No reaction. Zero. Actually injected more on other side after waiting 30 minutes I was so frustrated. Still no reaction at all. The vial I used had not been opened. It’s been sitting in freezer for a month. I’m hoping it’s medicine or technique. Just seems sudden to not work at all.

I'm going to have to vote for bad technique. I don't think the drugs would stop working suddenly like that.

I hope that’s what it is. I have some slightly older medicine that’s weaker that I will try tomorrow. I just want to see if I get any reaction at all. That’s what spooked me the most. The fact that there was zero reaction. Prior to this weekend I haven’t had a single misfire. I would think if Trimix stopped working it would be gradual not abrupt. Appreciate response. Thanks.

I used to use trimix. I agree that it's most likely bad technique too.
I had the same thing happen a few times.
When trimix stopped working for me, it was gradual, I would inject and not stay hard as long as I used to.
Finally, it just stopped working.
My Uro told me when I started on Trimix, that I would eventually need an implant.
Started with Viagra at age 40. Worked good for about 12 years.
Tried Trimix injections, worked great for about 8 years
Now Trimix no longer works.
I got implant on Oct 26th 2022.

I would think so as well. I’ll give it another go tomorrow and see what happens. The reason I thought it could be medicine is that I injected on other side 30 minutes after 1st one. Anyway I’m hopeful it will work out. That’s for sharing experience. Gradual makes more sense.

This seems to be a misfire. This does have a learning curve. I, too, after many successes had 2 consecutive misfires. Though disappointing not the end of the world. I tend to overeducate and try new techniques when I have one that works. Don’t overthink it. If there’s any resistance pushing plunger you missed. Pull it out and try again, the impulse is to force plunger down DON’T. Remember these needles are mass produced and need to be looked at before use as well.

Thanks for reply. I’ve had 2 bent needles so far. The most recent one Saturday, which was my 1st misfire, came out at a 90 degree angle. Scary bent. The 2nd misfire today I thought technique was ok but clearly something went wrong. My first 10 injections worked so thought I had it down. Hopefully figure it out this week.

When I was doing the shots I used an auto injector .. between my bad hands and belly and my partners shaking hands was the best thing we could have done. We went into the NP and had her show us with the injector where to inject .. Don't know where your located I bought mine from MenMD in st. petersburg fl .. I paid 35.00 for it and since I lived within 20 miles I went and picked it up ... pm me if you want more information ..

i have to echo the misfire comments, especially if the needle comes out bent at a 90 degree angle. im up to 120 injections and all the ones that didnt work were misfires. meaning i missed the spot entirely. for me it always works, even in those moments where the moment is inturrupted or just failed. we have had little arguments after me shooting up and even though we dont go through with the sex, im still hard for hours. for me the vials do tend to lose a little efficacy towards the very end. i use about 6 units and towards the end i have to up it to 7 or 8 to get the same effect. it does take a while to get it right and even then a misfire will hit when you are most confident. it happens, just try to move on or try again another day.

Appreciate the response. I plan on giving it a shot today or tomorrow. Funny you mentioned the confident thing. I’ve been feeling very confident. Going into the weekend I’ve never had a misfire. I think 11-12 straight. Which included the 1st 4 which were just trying to figure out dosage. The bent needle one made sense. The misfire yesterday, especially when I injected a 2nd time, caught me off guard. Thought technique was ok. Sounds like plenty of guys miss though. I doubt it’s the medicine. It was a brand new up opened batch though. Hoping to put this to rest next couple of days. Thanks.
