A success worth sharing

Postby RJ_in_Pa » Tue Dec 12, 2023 8:03 pm

Hi my brothers in ED,

So often we read about someone and their new/old challenges, I thought I’d share a recent success.

As I have mentioned in a few posts, it’s been over 3 months since my RP and my new life with ED. I have also mentioned that even the highest daily dose of Cialis did nothing for me.

I bought a VED and based on the sound advice from those on this site, I cautiously and carefully found that I could get an erection. When I finally got one strong enough for penetration, my wife and I attempted sex for the first time since the surgery. Unfortunately the erection did not last, even though I had one of the smallest rings available.

I was then coached by AOM from this site to use two rings. That worked and I was able to maintain an erection through my first real sex since surgery. I was able to have an organism, although not like ones with a a prostate, it was still very rewarding and fulfilling.

Not only did I have an organism, but my wife of 37 years had one as well. Hers seemed to keep going and going and going, which made me feel like a man again. She had one the best organism ever and I have the scratches on my back to prove it. THAT hasn’t happened in years, maybe literally decades.

The next day when I got out of the shower, she asked me where the scratches on my back came from. I just looked at her with a big smile and said where do you think they came from. Her being an “old school” type of girl was somewhat embarrassed and started to apologize. I said no apologies, I would gladly enjoy and endure that sort of pain every day!

This site and the people who respond, give advice, and support are changing and possibly saving lives for people like me.

Saying thank you doesn’t seem enough, but “Thank You”!

And, oh by way, I’m sure my wife thanks you all too! :D

Wow. That's great. Yes, relearning sex after RP can be a real challenge. It can work out fine if you have a partner that is willing to experiment with you. There are several variations: flaccid sex play, VED/constriction rings, and injections. I'm currently approaching the one year mark myself. Sex is not like it used to be, and certainly not as enjoyable for me, but my wife seems pretty content with the super hard, long-lasting erection from Trimix injections. She's not as crazy about the VED/ring approach, but we each find what works best for our situation. May you have continued sucess and best wishes to you.

Still_crazy - I tell my wife she is a ‘Good Sport’ as she is willing to try and deal with whatever works. I am fortunate to have her.

I tried Cialis at max dose with no little or no effect, so my next step is injections. It would be nice to not have the rings. I will keep you all informed on how it goes. Seems like I’m going through chapters of a book that you guys have already read or even wrote. :D

Thanks for the support.
