Postby bgbrabant » Wed Oct 05, 2011 3:36 pm

Hi guys. I'm recovering from radical prostate surgery and have found this site. Wow. What they don't tell us about recovery options . Glad you're all here to help.

Check out healingwell.com go to the prostate cancer section of the forum. The will have more comments on your healing process and this site will help you with the limp dick stuff. :)

Welcome to the clan! I am also PCa with robotic surgery. There are many things to be done and to get you up and running but you can do a lot. Question- how long out from surgery. And did you have ED issues before and what is your age? How is continence coming along. May I assume the sex drive has returned? These are all factors in you developing your Penile Rehab plan.

You are so right that many docs don't have a clue or seem afraid to address the issue. I had that experience and the delay of finding this place hindered my recovery. I have some thoughts but, if you don't mind, would like to have a bit more info before I share my thoughts. If you wish send me a PM.

Many guys here have traveled this path and it is a journey. And we are all doing well and continue to try. BUT, unlike other required rehab programs; Penile Rehab is fun and should be done on a frequent basis.! Yeah!! Join the chatroom when you can- it is a good place and a lot of info and experience is there.

My best and good to have you among us!

Regards,

Dick
