Hello from Michigan

Postby Rikter8 » Fri Dec 30, 2011 8:13 am

Hello,

I thought it would be a good idea to come in here and introduce myself, especially after yesterdays appointment with my Urologist...

33 6'1 GWM 230's at the moment... have had ED since about 24-25 yrs of age.
On paper, i'm generally healthy, but have many issues with Anxiety/Depression/Self Esteem. My weight doesn't help things either.
The only thing that I'm allergic to is Wheat and Dairy...So I'm a lucky Celiac
I'm your average Midwestern guy, love wrenching on vehicles building and customizing, building and remodeling houses, yard work, and rolling my rides to many auto shows/events.
I work as a full time professional, but it isn't satisfying...so im trying to find something better that fits me. I run two Auto-Related Websites, the newest one being BentGears.com
I found out about this website from LPSG.

My Frank Talk: I have shitty erections, and although I do function, I cannot maintain like other men and it honestly is disabling.
I don't think most men realize how less you feel when you cannot perform sexually, and it certainly does not help if you have underlaying issues such as depression.
My endocrinologist thinks because I can ejaculate, I'm just fine. If I can "Finish", there's nothing he needs to do.
My urologist says there is nothing he can do for me. Exercise, and go out and have "Fun".

I don't date alot. The pool of men in this area is relatively thin, and most don't share my interests and hobbies.
I have lots of toys, so if you need a review on a toy, I probably already have it, and can give you my honest opinion if you like (Fleshlights, prostate massagers, pumps, dildos, etc).

So, hopefully that gives you an introduction to me.
Feel free to chat with me or ask questions. I like to think that I'm relatively easy to talk to and level headed. (Or so i'm told by friends)
Thanks!

Rikter8, welcome. I am also a Michigander, from the base of the thumb in Almont.

So much of what you said could have been me at your age. Yea, I got erections, sort of. Try to stick it in and it didn't do so good, and yea, I could ejaculate. Because I was trying so hard to keep my dick up for my wife, most of the time I ejaculated way too soon. Sorry doc, that is NOT acceptable, and you need to let him know that.

Unless your T levels are low, there isn't much your endocronologist can do for you. Have you tried a urologist that specializes in men's issues? I would suspect you have a leakage issue, there are tests to confirm that and at your age, it might be correctable. Find a GOOD urologist.

You have found the support you can count on, this is a great group of guys. If you are close by, I'd love to meet up with you and have a pop, coffee, beer, whatever and compare notes.

Oh, I also have depression issues, so that is another thing we share!

Welcome to FrankTalk Rikter8 and Happy New Year.

I think that the best way for me to provide you with some info about ED is to share the story of my battle with ED.
I developed ED Post-Prostatectomy in February 2004 at age 65 and had never experienced any problem prior to that.
Viagra, Cialis, etc. did not work for me.
After much research and having the opportunity to speak with 2 men who underwent the Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Procedure, I had my Titan Implant Procedure December 13, 2007.
The Titan Penile Implant completely corrected my ED and restored both my sex life and the emotional intimacy with my wife of 45 years.
I became a Coloplast Patient Educator in January 2008 in order to share my Pre-Implant and Post-Implant experiences with men still suffering from ED and its devastating side effects.
I just celebrated the Fourth Anniversary of my Titan Implant December 13th and my wife and I could not be happier with it.
The FT Group has a bunch of great guys who are always willing to reach out to other men suffering with ED.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to talk.

Bob

Thanks for the post Rikter8. And I sure want to ask for your recommendation of best toys for a wife to use on a hubbie's limp dick. I have a viberect on trial right now. Are you aware of it? Here's my post on it: http://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=585&start=10
