Re: My implant died at exactly 3 years.

Sorry to hear about the failure - mine failed just one week short of 3 years. I called the day after mine failed to start the process of replacing it. Luck of the draw I guess - my revision has not gone well - I hope your revision goes smoothly.

Re: Type of anaesthetic

I had a general anesthetic for both implants - no side effects on the first - was extremely nauseous every two hours from day 2 to day 6 even at night after the second implant. I attribute that to the anesthesis.

Re: Titan Revision by Dr. Kramer

Shooter, My bad I misunderstood and glad I did - sounds like you are in good shape re:pump position. Pump position on my first implant was like that. JungleMedic Thanks for thumbs up on Dr Christine. I am not going to make a quick decision as to whether to do another surgery - I am still dealing wit...

Re: Titan Revision by Dr. Kramer

Shooter 1000, You responded to this post earlier. I am now at 6 weeks plus one day and my pump sounds like it is in a similar position as yours. The pump bulb is very high about even with my balls. The release portion of the pump is attached to the base of my penis with the release pointing toward m...

Re: Day 4 past implant

Best to you on your recovery Hugh!

Use plenty of ice - swelling can cause unwanted problems.

Re: Titan Revision by Dr. Kramer

I am 5 weeks post surgery today. Soreness mainly inside of incision where it is rubbing on extra curled up tubing that exists because of high pump. My pump is firmly fixed to the bottom of my penis at an odd angle so that I can feel the release from the high backside of my scrotum, but the other sid...

Re: Titan Revision by Dr. Kramer

I don't think there is much swelling left. I can pretty easily grab the bulb of the pump in a hot tub. It is located about the upper half of my balls. It is the release that is stuck, grown to whatever to the base of my penis and is so "buried" that it is almost impossible to feel. I can f...

Best to you on the revision. I will be following your reports. Has Dr Karpman talked to you about how will help insure the pump stays lower/better position?

Re: Titan Revision by Dr. Kramer

I am now at 4 1/2 weeks post surgery. Only place I have any soreness is the bottom of the incision. I believe that is being caused because the pump is so high that the extra tubing that would have allowed the pump to go lower into the correct position is looped upwards and rubbing the inside of the ...
