I had pessimistic feelings about my latest labs and there was only a very slight change. The creatinine came down slightly to 1.90. That calculates to GFR of 35 vs 33 on the 23d of May. I had another blood test on 5/23 and the creatinine had gone up to 1.98. That still kept me in stage 3b, but I was disappointed. I still had swelling at the urethra and trouble peeing. I base that hope on the blood test I got in the hospital the day after surgery. The creatinine level came down quite a bit. I'll have to check to see the actual percentage. That's what is giving me hope today. I'll give the answer, good or bad tomorrow.

I had another blood draw today. Tomorrow is the make or break test. I'll be devastated if the GFR isn't more improved. That will show that I really have bad kidney disease.
