Re: Kramer Special
I don't post here as much as some of the Kramer fanboys do. But, I am as much a satisfied patient as anyone else who sings his praises here. I was impressed with him at every stage of the process. His staff is great, too. I have had many great relationships with physicians and other health care prov...

Re: Radical Prostatectomy and Implant at Same Time?
Although I have no reason to doubt that a simultaneous RP and implant procedure is possible, I see at least one practical issue. The surgeons who specialize in one of the procedures usually do not do the other one. So you either would have to have two different surgeons or one surgeon who was not a ...

Re: CS vs LGX
I am no expert. But, from what I have read in other posts here, I think that the CX is more rigid than the LGX and that some doctors prefer the CX for longer penises over the LGX.

Re: Weird question
If you go to the search link posted above, you will see my more detailed comment. I have had no difficulty with 40-50 mile rides and have not changed the saddle on my bike (Fizik Arione). After I had some discomfort beginning at mile 90 on a 116 mile ride in June I have been thinking about getting a...

Re: Do you keep your implant totally secret?
Initially I told people that I was having surgery to deal with incontinence issues from my radical prostatectomy. I had my implant surgery followed by make sling surgery 8 weeks later. After the second surgery one of my friends questioned me as to why I needed two operations. I could tell that he th...

Re: 2days post op
I was scheduled to have a post op appointment to learn how to cycle about a month after surgery. I started playing around with things in the shower on Day 18 and pumped up my implant. I then had to figure out how to deflate it (the keychain model helped). I emailed my surgeon, Dr. Kramer, and he tol...

Re: Considering Implant - Venous leak - Other options?
Whether you have a venous leak or not, it you have had 5 years of ED following a radical prostatectomy, the only real solution for your ED is an implant. Those nerves that your surgeon allegedly spared are not going to spring back to life. I am very happy with my implant.

Re: physical activity ie bicycle riding, motorcycle etc
I was implanted in November 2015 and began riding my bicycle 6 weeks after surgery without any issues until last week. When I began riding after surgery I started out slow and did short distances (20 miles). I did not ride as much as I would have liked this past Spring due to weather and work but I ...
