Re: Another 26 y/0 with questions
Both Eid and Kramer have dealt with many cases of scarring. In fact, many patients that used injections before having an implant have scarring. Why not forward the MRIs of your scarring to both? See what they have to say.

Re: IMPLANT HELP ...
3 piece inflatable implants are modern. They give a more natural experience. Malleable implants are old school. Today they are used if the patient has limited dexterity and cannot pump an implant. There is a higher risk of erosion with malleable implants.

Re: Consoled with Dr Michael Oneil today
2 piece implants are designed to be used in patients with abdominal scarring. I see. He asked me if I had hernia surgery. I did have both sides done. The thing I like is its a simpler design. I got to try it out, pretty cool. The two piece model is inferior to a 3 piece. I recommend consulting a to...

Re: Another 26 y/0 with questions
ED2013, Whats involved in his 10 year guarantee? Do you know how long until he retires? Im pretty sure both Eid and Kramer are no touch. Most of the cost of a revision is covered if needed within 10 years. Have no idea when he'll retire lol. You're doing a good job asking questions and doing your h...

To answer your question, I'd lean towards Eid because of his 10 year guarantee and no touch technique.

Re: Another 26 y/0 with questions
1. Eid is more likely to not use any rtes. Yes.
2. No I wouldn't worry.
3. It is possible.
4. No.
All in all, given your situation, I think you've made the right decision to get implanted. If I had to choose between Kramer or Eid, I'd choose Eid.

Re: Should it be a surgeon's duty to tell a patient to go elsewhere?
I do agree that it should be a surgeons duty to refer patients elsewhere. Unfortunately it's common that they do not. The first surgeon I consulted about an implant advised me not to get one. He said he could do it, but I would lose size and would be oval shaped and feel unnatural.
