Are you having a problem with blood flow to the glans?
I'm suffering from the same, even though Milam told me in a 12/15 visit there was blood flow in my glans. However, my glans is very floppy on erection -- not indicative of blood flow, in a layman's opinion.

Re: Small scrotum for AMS pump
I have a good size sack but pain and cold make it shrink to 1/3 of its size. After the surgery, after everything down there went back to normal I noticed that my pump is in front and can be seen especially if i'm lying on my back. When I asked the doctor about it he said because I have a small sack...

Considering my experience with Milam was not a good one, hope to hear how yours turns out. All the best.

Re: How Far Should Cyinders Protrude into the Head?
Hey Fellas All this talk about Dr. Milam at Vanderbilt leaves me to wonder if he did the actual implant himself? I know Vanderbilt has a medical school, and I wonder if he is is the chief of Urology at that medical school and maybe a Vanderbilt medical school intern actually did your surgeries unde...

Re: How Far Should Cyinders Protrude into the Head?
I chose Milam due to convenience that I could drive there in 5 hours and recommendations here on FT. At this point I wish I never had an implant. Doctor is not patient friendly nor is staff, hospital and record keeping are a disaster. I have a list of 8 issues with this implant. Every doctor who ha...

Re: How Far Should Cyinders Protrude into the Head?
firstcav46, I will reply tonight when I get in. Milam gives no answers. I refused to go back to him since he told me he would not discuss my issues with me. Maryann is a witch and would only argue. Sorry to hear you also have this issue. Thinking I may need another implant, but I'm pretty sure Mila...

Re: How Far Should Cyinders Protrude into the Head?
Milam did mine 1/13 with a 700 LGX. Tips are right at the bottom of the glans until I pump it up as hard as I can get it, then they are more toward the lower side of the glans beside urethra and go up about 1/2 way into the glans. Glans is always soft and when folded back over the top of the penis ...

How Far Should Cyinders Protrude into the Head?
I'm asking this in terms of how far the cylinders should protrude during erection. Mine go nearly all the way to the tip of my penis. Is that normal? I had the AMS 700 implanted in May 2014 by Dr. Milam. All went well until March 2015 until I began experiencing pain and burning around my foreskin an...

Re: Cost Of A Replacement Out Of Pocket And with Insurance
I had Medicare, with a supplement, and had my implant done at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The total charge to my insurance companies was roughly $75,000. I paid zero.

Re: Financing an Implant
Not really an answer useful to you because my surgery was paid by Medicare, but the bills that I saw showed the surgery was billed at $75,000 by a major teaching university hospital. But as someone posted earlier, Medicare did not pay nearly that much and neither did my supplemental insurer.
