I had been on TRT for about 15 years prior to my PCa diagnosis in January, and life was good. That was stopped immediately by my docs. So now my T is anywhere from 50 to 150. Practically castration level. My ultra sensitive PSA's at 3 months and 6 months were both <0.006. My GP, my regular Uro, my ...

Re: TRT after Prostatectomy

Sounds like your doctors are following outdated protocol. The AUA and the SMSNA both have changed regarding TRT following PCa. If you are cancer free, you should be fine. Surprisingly I have no anxiety or nervousness at all. I am very calm, feeling great about my decision to do this, and eager to enjoy life with my new dick after recovery.

That's great. I was calm the morning of my surgery, but I had the help of 5mg of Valium. ;)

Re: New Here and Awaiting Implant

My surgery is not until 4:30PM. It will be a LONG day. I will likely not give any updates until I return home the following day. Mine was at 5:30 pm, so I feel for you. It was kind of a long day, but I pretty much went right from recovery to a room overnight with good meds. ;) And that was a real p...
