I have done this and it worked successfully. I use a small thermos, place your small bottle of trimix in a somewhat larger plastic bottle sufficiently small to fit within the neck of the thermos and then place small pieces of ice within the thermos. This will keep the trimix cold for about 12 hours.

Here is a suggestion for transporting trimix......I bought a thermos, placed the vial in the thermos and filled it with small ice cubes. Even when the ice cubes melt you have ice water.....the method will maintain sufficient cold for about 12 hours.
