I got the catheter out this morning and now I'm drinking lots of water, and hoping to pee.

Re: Now, I have kidney disease.
Congratulations, Tomas. Twenty-eight to 35 in a month sounds like a nice jump. How did you discover the kidney problem originally? We discovered the GFR was very low from a routine blood work and they scheduled me with a nephrologist. I was also showing many symptoms of kidney disease, but I actual...

Re: Now, I have kidney disease.
I had my TURP surgery yesterday evening and it seemed to go well. I had some discomfort afterward, but Tylenol seemed to blunt the pain. A funny thing is I can't feel any discomfort in the prostate. Maybe there aren't nerves there, or maybe they put pain med in the IV. I spent an uncomfortable night...

Re: Now, I have kidney disease.
My nephrologist was quite adamant that I give the attending physician in the hospital his card so he could see me. I was seeing red flags and I hate Medicare milking. I asked my surgeon if the guy had any business being there and he said only if there was a complication.. I don't plan to just let hi...

Re: Difference between implants
I just started seeing what the Rigicon implant is.
I see they make both malleable and inflatable devices.
I wonder if only the malleable implant has a lifetime guarantee?

Good luck Old Guy. They do seem to have a way to treat bladder cancer, but it's probably not fun.
