Re: Me & My Genesis Malleable

What caused all the failed ipp? I've heard from multiple sources that the Coloplast tubing is the weakest link in the Titan. Dr. Eid says the following: "The Coloplast tubing that connects the cylinders to the pump is the Achilles heel of this penile device brand. The tubing is outsourced and ...

Re: Me & My Genesis Malleable

Here's the story. Started this IPP implant journey 4 years ago, within 4 weeks, first failure due to tubes coming apart at coupling while trying to cycle, 2nd failure due to cylinder backing out thru internal stitch's in the 2nd month, 3rd failure due to weak spot in cylinder within that year, 4th ...

Re: Boston Scientific wins FDA approval for penile prosthesis pump

IPP and reliability are like oil and water. When companies make efforts to marry those two, I applaud them. Almost every second or third post of yours is running down the ipp. You may have had bad experiences with it, but don’t spread so much negativity here. Many men are very happy with their ipp ...

Re: Tactra Malleable

From thedriver's posts, it appears that he already had a capsule well-formed and stretched by the four titans he used prior to switching to Malleables. I think that those getting their first malleable implant might not have the same girth retention. — just my opinion. Thank you! Hoping for a better ...

Re: Tactra Malleable

I understand your points, and they make sense. It seems that when it comes to rigidity, you really can't go wrong with any malleable implant on the market. You mention that Tactra has good bend memory, which is good to hear. It appears that Boston Scientific has addressed this issue, as I've seen sa...

Re: Are implants a long term solution?

Malleable Implant - Long term solution as it's reliable like a Toyota
Inflatable Implant - Short term solution as it breaks down all the time like Fiat Chrysler

Re: Me & My Genesis Malleable

Hey thedriver, How's the durability testing of your Coloplast Genesis malleable mallet going? It sounds like you're three months post-op now! I hope your recovery was without hiccups! If you don't mind, could you share a detailed quarterly report with us? I'd love to hear more about your durability ...
