Re: After implant, can you still flex it?
Ive had both PS and IP and could flex with both.
IP was much quicker recovery, but also caused me to be shortened on cylinders which then needed a revision. This was due to a biological inconsistency that around 5% of guys have where their erethra ends a few cm lower rather than higher.

Re: Backpacking and outdoor activity with penile implant
I have PFS which is similar to PSSD. My libido is zero though.
Backpacking and hiking will be absolutely no issue. I ride my bike now and do not have any issues either. I think I went on a bike ride 4-5 days after my implant. However, I never ride more than a few kms.
You should be fine.

Re: Wearing jockstrap to avoid tenting
I wear 2 pairs of tight briefs.
You have to buy a couple different types of briefs and find ones with more support in the penis region. Some types hold it down well and others dont.

Re: How many did this alone?
Both of mine were alone. 1st time I was hours away from home. I stayed in a hotel 2-3 nights by myself and drive home. Hospital did not let me use an Uber to get to the hotel so I found a random person on Reddit who helped get me there. 2nd time was a 3 hour flight away. Stayed in a hotel room by my...

As the above poster said, Surgeo is a great option. Dr Blick will also offer some sort of "free" fix if its within 90 days.

Re: Which pump to pick?
I've had both pumps. The OTR is a little bit bigger. Both have made sounds when pumping, I think the OTR is a little quieter though. Of the two, I think I prefer the Genesis, but not by much. I've had one Dr tell me the Genesis lasts longer and another tell me the opposite.

Re: Infrapubic/penoscrotal healing and revisions
I've had both done. IP was a much faster healing time, but I was short changed due to it being IP. My revision was PS which had longer healing time, but I ended up with 5cm longer cylinders.

Re: International Flight - Week after Surgery
At 29yo, you should be able to do it. It wouldnt be fun, but if you have your meds and can manage to ice it during your layovers then you should be fine. For example, I was 34yo at my first implant and here is what I did on day 6.. -Took kids to barber, son and I got a haircut -Took daughter to outd...

Sorry guys, no updates here really other than my "flaccid" state is getting much softer than it initially was. Its starting to hang a little more normal compared to the first few months.
