Re: Dr Bruce Garber
Hey thanks guys. It's amazing the opinions you get regarding various doctors. I went to a guy who was supposed to the best and after 10 weeks and two surgeries I am still in pain. His response to me was in time the pain will go away. He has many posts praising his work. I guess I was just unlucky. S...

Re: Check list of questions
Hi gregorbehr, You say you are on your second surgery. Can you share what happened from your first surgery causing you to go back for a second try? I had an inflatable Implanted back on July 7th. Three weeks later had to be removed due to suspected infection and was replaced with a semi-rigid device...

Re: How to place a semi rigid inplant when not in use
Hi ... can you tell me when you had the pain I described, did anything help relieve it? I have been using a heating pad. Seems to help a bit but not much. I also take a Xanax once in a while to ease my anxiety but I hate to take that stuff unless I really have to.

Dr Bruce Garber
Anyone have any experience with this doctor out of Philadelphia? He is supposed to be a "high volume" guy doing penile implants. I am considering seeing him for a second opinion on my implant issues and would appreciate hearing of your experiences with him.

Re: How to place a semi rigid inplant when not in use
I only hope you are right and in time it will feel better. 7 weeks today and I still feel pain deep inside the scrotum and sensitivity on the surface of my penis. Kramer says to hang in there but I am just so fearful that this pain will never go away. He says it will in time but in the meantime its ...

Re: Moving on mentally?
Kramer in Baltimore. Many people praised him and he was relatively close to home. I live in NJ. He is very caring but I think he screwed me up. After the second surgery he said I should feel better in a week. After 6 weeks, I still have pain. I am not sure if the surgery was bad or if he just was ov...

Re: Moving on mentally?
I am also trying to move on. You don't say how your surgery went. After 3 months are you in pain? I am now 6-1/2 weeks from my second surgery. First surgery with an inflatable had to be removed after 3-1/2 weeks due to pain and possible infection. Second surgery to remove inflatable, the doctor inse...

Re: How to place a semi rigid inplant when not in use
Hi Bigtime, Tried to send you a personal message. Did you ever get it? Little more than 6 weeks out from second surgery. Still have significant pain inside the testicles and very sensitive on the surface of the penis. Pain is not severe but very uncomfortable. Can only wear very loose clothing and n...

Re: Questions for those that already have an implant
I am now 5-1/2 weeks from my second procedure where Dr. Kramer put in the semi-rigid rods to replace the failed inflatable. I still have pain but it is very, very slowly abating. One fellow who had the same experience told me he took 4 months till all the pain was gone. Another told me it took 100 d...
