Re: Recently implanted/Cycle time

The thing is you need to heal and avoid infection. Your doctor knows more about you and what was done than we do. So, follow your doctors' instructions. Heat will help when you first start cycling. I put an electric heating pad in my bed and would turn it on when I started getting ready for bed at n...

Re: Leaning to the right

I’m 5 weeks post op with Dr Clavell out of Houston. My follow up is next week when I start cycling. Post op, my penis leans about 20 degrees to the right. It was as straight as an arrow (other than the natural curve up) before surgery. Does that correct itself once I start cycling? I have several i...

Re: Urethra injury? Possible removal now? How do I deal with this?

Sorry for your injury. But they do happen. Just bad luck I think. Alot of times they can remove the cylinder to make a repair and put the cylinder back in. If you think of some of the enlargement surgeries or even crossover cases. I would not at this point think of this causing size loss. It might b...

Re: Pump low in scrotum

5 weeks is still early in this. Most cases a reoperation will not happen until after 6 months. This is because scar tissue will not hold sutures again for that long. In cases of infection this is why with all but the best doctors and a small number of men another IPP will not be placed. Your tissue ...

Re: Pump too low?

It will take a while for things to finally adjust or you to adjust to them. My pump is low and, in the back, and it took a long time for my scrotal skin to thicken and adjust to it. Kind of like your hands developing callus's. Was the same for me with the reservoir or actually even longer and I can ...

Re: when to start cycling

I am fresh off my procedure with Dr Eid. I know he tells patients to begin cycling the 3rd full day post surgery. I have read numerous posts on here from patients of other drs that seem to start cycling weeks after surgery. Curious why that is? Does that give those that start cycling so soon after ...

Re: Pills vs implant

There is nothing currently that is as good as a natural blood filled erection. But nothing worked for me. Not pills or injections. I really wanted medications that could be dialed in for up to a 2 hour erection. As long as you can get medications to work, that is better than an implant. The inflatab...

Re: Pump not staying deflated

The AMS 700 MS pump can be a bit sticky at first. They are made tight to last a long time. They are self-lubricating. When you think about wait time for activation you notice that the doctor leaves the pump in inflate mode for weeks partially inflated. And for these weeks the device stays at that le...

Re: Trainees/Students

How do you guys feel about trainees or students being able to watch or be involved in your implant surgery. Two of the surgeons I saw are at training hospitals and although they both said they complete the surgery that trainees may be involved. It seems like that's the case at many places. Should t...
