Thanks guys taking your advice today is day 5, been icing all day, had to take a pain pill an hour ago,1st since I got home. Glad GFcancelledour dinner dare, right now I wouldn't want to go. Just laying done and resting as you suggest will be doing it for awhile.

Today was my 4th after implant. Very little pain just using Advil. Driving is comfortable, all is good. I'm happy I decided to go thru this, can't wait until I can begin to use my new found friend.

New question, How long after you get home from hospital where you allowed to remove bandages and shower. Did you antiseptic soap or just regular bar soap. Have a call into doctor to clarify.

Well the stinging has stopped. The pain is manageable. All I'm taking is Advil and antibiotics. Icing occasionally. Next step is a shower which will be tomorrow before I go to the doctor.
