Surprisingly, When you squeeze the pump you only feel the pump in your scrotum. I know our balls hurt if hit there or get squeezed. :o (Don't worry you won't squeeze your balls by mistake!) There must not be many nerves in the sack itself. :P I had infra-pubic and no pain at all squeezing the pump....
