Re: How much did your implant cost?
Andrew Kramer (U of Md Medical Center in Baltimore) did mine in 2008. Total cost (surgeon, anesthesia, device and hospital) was about $17.5K. My share after insurance was about $1100. I also highly recommend Dr. Kramer.

Re: What will I still feel re arousal, stimulation post Implant?
I get really pissed off with myself, this waiting for surgery still has me wondering if I will go through with it while at the same time I know that it is what I want and that I have made the decision. Your comments that it is the best thing possible for those of us that really have no other option...

Re: Testosterone worries?
I have been on "T" for close to years. Been through Androgel, Axiorn, local compounded. Have discontinued usage. No improvement with any. My next is shots which I hear are very effective. The other 3 barely raised me to 100. My co-pay on shots is $95.00. May have to have weekly, bi-weekly...

Re: Testosterone worries?
Dave, I felt better pretty soon after starting Testosterone therapy. It really jump started my libido and at the time I had really bad ED so it drove my wife and me crazy. BTW, I am originally from Md, B-more, but left there in 1965. I'm hoping to get some of the benefits I see other men talking ab...

No, no hematomas, but I did have a problem with the incision healing (my own fault - I scrubbed the scab too vigorously in the shower and dislodged part of it. After that it didn't want to heal - Dr Kramer re-sutured it and it was fine in a couple of days).

Re: Testosterone worries?
I'm seeing my doc on Monday about low T. My last test came back at 130, and I feel really low and draggy. I'll explore the dangers, but from what I've read I'd gladly risk it if getting my T back up would help me feel better. Most of the dangers I've read about don't really disturb me too much - the...

Re: Surgery finished, now recovery help!
So I had a titan coloplast 17cm installed with 3cm extension on 09/11/2014. Surgery went great, first day post op no problems. Catheter out same day, walking and self urinating. HOWEVER, the bruising is horrible and the pain is only associated with the swelling which by day 3 had gone up to the siz...

Re: Moving on mentally?
Kramer in Baltimore. Many people praised him and he was relatively close to home. I live in NJ. He is very caring but I think he screwed me up. After the second surgery he said I should feel better in a week. After 6 weeks, I still have pain. I am not sure if the surgery was bad or if he just was o...

Re: Questions for those that already have an implant
Joe, sorry to hear about your troubles :( and I do want to hear about other guys' experiences, not just the good. Charlie, hopefully everything turns out great for me also, I will probably go with Dr. Perito as well, Dr. Kramer. Bill, I do want to hear other guys' honest opinions and experiences. I...

Re: Eid versus Kramer?
Let me just double-down on what others have said…I truly believe Dr. Andrew Kramer is the best in the business. +1. I agree - you can't go wrong with Dr. Kramer - he's great. He takes extreme precautions to guard against infection: should one occur, it would not likely be due to anything under his ...
