2nd time around

Good day. I received my first implant 8 years ago this past November in St Paul, MN and I received the 700CX. The surgery was way less painful than I had anticipated although, since I am a long term type 1 diabetic, they held me for an overnight stay. I went home the next day and the day after I wen...

Re: Recovery time to return to work

Everyone is obviously very different in their recovery. I had my implant done (scrotal) in Dec of 15 and I had requested that they do a spinal as part of the anesthesia since I had read of members that had good results from it. Anyway, for what it's worth, my surgery was on a Monday, I was released ...

Re: Help--recommend a Dr

I would highly recommend Dr Laurence O'connor from St Paul, MN. He typically implants AMS implants. Surgery went without a hitch and I was back to work two days after surgery. He is with Health Partners.

Re: Anesthesia for implant surgery

Terry: I did some digging into the anesthesia as well, beforre surgery. My Urologist normally does just general but I asked about doing a spinal and he was ok with that but said that it may take a little longer in the end. Since I was spending the night anyway, I opted for the spinal and it went ext...

Re: Extremely Satisfied

For me it went really well and the recovery was a breeze. I know that is not the case for many others but I would definitely do it again.

Re: HARD or Soft... What type of implant do you have?

Alibaba; Here is what I can tell you. I received my 700LGX back on 11-30-15. I find that I can fully depress the pump about 8 times and that causes it to quite hard. If I go beyond that I am only able to partially squeeze the pump since the bulb becomes quite hard. When I do another say 5 partial sq...

What's up
That stinks. I hope the news proves to be otherwise. We have all heard of the possibility but you are correct that after 9 months you would think that you were pretty safe.

Hang in there.

Re: What does a penile implant cost?

Well guys, I just logged into my insurance plans website and I am seeing the costs. The costs are about 30 grand that the insurance company paid and had I not had the insurance, it wa billed out at around $53,000. That having been stated, I had met my deductible max for the year so it actually cost ...
