40 pumps to hard and reservoir empty seems more accurate too assuming full wall to wall pumps which one seldom succeeds beyond 20 pumps.

I agree. The first AMS I got in 1995 is almost identical to this third one I got in 2013. The only thing different is the pump and the first one was the best of the bunch.

My first implant failed after about 3 1/2 years. The second failed after about 14 1/2 years. Both were the AMS Ultrex. This third is an AMS LGX, which is supposedly an improvement over the Ultrex. The physical sensations and the delaying of orgasm you mention were the same post-implant as before. None of that changed at all for me.
