Re: Question for prostatectomy guys
I also think there may be some dribble stored up in the penis shaft that is held back by the swelling postop and even now for me two years out by the slight pressure the implant tips have on the distal urethra that can give me a surprise dribble post void. Suspect your dribbles will go back to preim...

Re: Infrapubic or Peno-Scrotal
Really depends on the patient and surgeon. Go with a high volume surgeon and ask them what their complication and redo rates are if not going with Dr Kramer or Eid. I had zero problems with mine and began inflating gently in about two weeks and intercourse at the same time. Sore first few days and t...

Re: exercising with implant
I dont even think about the implant after 2 years now. I can bicycle, jog, lift, work around the house lifting large boulders out of my tractor bucket etc and other than a bigger bulge in compression pants notice no difference from before implant. It is a non issue except when i want to use it and t...

Re: Prostatectomy AFTER Implant
I have read somewhere that the surgeon will ask that the penile implant not be inflated for at least 6 weeks post prostatectomy but as a physician I cant imagine the need for implant revision but only some time for reanastomosis to heal. After that healing inflation should eventually stretch over ti...

Re: Two years today
thrilled you are doing so well. QUESTION: from your reading and discussions, is there anything that you should or should not do to make sure that your implant lasts 15 years rather than 5 years ??? I had been inflating daily when I first got the implant but now less per Dr Kramer's suggestion to on...

Two years today
Well it has been two years since I took the plunge and had my implant. I still speak with Dr Kramer by email on occasion as I have had to have prostate biopsies and just had inguinal hernia surgery three weeks ago and wanted his opinion since I have a reservoir and implant and didnt want to mess tha...

Re: Interesting presentations
Bad things happen when attempts are made to push what nature gave us. Thanks for sharing what can happen Merrix. And as to the differences between manufacturers i think the study only confirmed what pretty much every study has shown that the Titan is stiffer and if you are ok with that when deflated...
