My Uro said to use a 1/2" and inject at a 90 degree angle. I asked if a guy's thickness had anything to do with the size needle since it seemed that a guy who was thick needed a longer one. The Uro said no because it u inject right it goes into the corpa no matter how thick you are/

I've noticed that also. I think it may be because every penis is different. That is, where the nerves and veins lie. I notice that I have more bruised veins on the left than the right but the left is more painless.

I always try to maintain an erection for atleast 1 1/2 hours/ That way wife and I arent rushed and we can take all the time we need. Even have seconds. For me, 12 units does the trick. There is no harm in going up to 2 or even 3 hrs.
