Waiting time

Postby newbie1 » Sat Aug 26, 2017 2:19 pm

For information and comparison, what is the waiting time for you:
1. From date of making referral to date seen by implanting surgeon?
2. From first date seen by implanting surgeon to date of implant surgery?
3. Your location, e.g. country, state/province
ED many years, failed PDE5i, on Trimix but recently needing large increasing strengths and doses

Following my consultation with my surgeon, I scheduled my surgery about 5 weeks out. I may have been able to get in sooner, but had to fit this in between other plans. I am in Atlanta, GA.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Probably a 2 week wait to see the surgeon.

I went for consultation mainly to find out if insurance would cover implant. 3 1/2 weeks later I had the implant. I was amazed to say the least.

I'm in Charlotte, NC.
