State of Mind Affecting ED and Orgasm
I would like to suggest an overall topic on the state of our mind post RP and how it affects our ability to have an erection and to orgasm. I know this is one of my biggest challenges during sex with my wife and I have read some information that has helped me. Thoughts?

I believe you need a de-stressed state of mind to achieve orgasm after prostate removal. I don't know how to get there yet but my wife assures me I will. My wife recently had a hysteroctomy and suffered from the same loss of orgasim control. I think she is right, it will take time and patience and practice to relearn how to achieve an orgasm again. It will be different, but it can be just as satisfying. You will also have to have an understanding with your partner that your orgasm is your primary focus (for the time being) and you need their help to get there by whatever means required. This might include them actively participating in one of your fantasies, whatever they might be.

Thomas,
That is a really good idea and one that I had planned on even maybe doing a blog on. Then it occurred to me, is this part of a larger whole mental/emotional issue? Should I create a section for the emotional and mental complications, ideas, problems, challenges of ED?
It IS more than just fluid mechanics after all. The ideas of how to increase sensation, regain control, enjoy sex, enjoy our bodies, stop looking at ourselves as patients or medical specimens are all a challenge. Most guys love their dick. Have we lost our infatuation in all of this?

Absoutly! Paul, I think we really should talk about the entire mental state post RP. There is physical healing, and then mental adjustments and learning. Regarding infatuation with our penis, I don't think it changes at all. If anything, it grows (if that's possibole
I think penis infactuation is part of the aspect that drives us to find solutions. It certanly is for me.
