Can't see new posts without deleting cookies.

Why is it, that I can't see new posts without deleting cookies in my browser. This is the case no matter whether I use my phone or computer.

Say if I go to the forum index and look at the different sections, the posts I see are old posts. As soon as I delete the browser cookies I can see the new posts. Maybe it's time to upgrade phpBB?
