I've noticed that almost every size listed in signatures here is above average, often well above. The large clinical studies (none self measured), put the average erect length at about 13 cm (5.2 in). If you plug the signature numbers in here, most of them land in the top 10 to 15%: https://malesizeindex.com/
We have some serious big guys on franktalk. So either the studies are wrong or loads of peooke are full of shit here. But I would not see a point in lying about dick size on an ED website. So one explanation could be that ED is maybe correlated to size?
Or simply if you are bigger the more likely you are to state your size...
Honest question: are bonic brothers all above average, or we just rounding up?

I’ve noticed this as well. Some guys on here actually are pretty big, as evidenced by posted images. I think most have listed their “bone-pressed erect length,” where they press the ruler into the abdomen to get that extra inch or two of concealed willy.
In any event, I don’t care, as I’m only concerned with the size of my own dick.

42. Implanted by Dr. Kramer, July 5, 2024, AMS LGX, 21cm cylinders + 2cm RTEs. Idiopathic "hard flaccid" ED following bacterial infection. Tried pulse waves, Cialis, TRT, even spinal injections. Nada.

No doubt there are a few who embellish their length. OK, their partner will know the real length though.
I don't post my length in my signature line, but I have stated it in a few posts about post-op length. It was an honest measure with a ruler firmly against my pelvic bone and measured to the very end. I suspect others do the same thing, which is the method a doctor will use. Your weight will affect this measurement a bit depending upon the thickness of your pubic fat pad.
I question these studies and the one you link to has this statement attached when viewing the US data "Reliability: Low–moderate — plausible range, but still an aggregated estimate, not a clinical measurement." Additionally, it states the self-reports tend to skew higher. OK, but just who is being measured in a clinical setting? How many are in total are being measured? Is the group large enough to truly represent the total population?
Prior to ED, that's just what I would have wanted to do, go into a clinical setting, get a hard-on and have it measured. You'll never convince me that you'll capture an absolute max length in that setting vs. a hard-on in an erotic situation. As to the Brotherhood on FT who measure themselves, I really don't have a reason to doubt them. In the end, my length is the only length I'm interested in though.

Maybe ED affects men with larger penises at a higher rate than men with smaller penises.
If you sorted men into groups arranged by penis size, would the men in the smallest group be affected by ED at the same rate as the men in the largest group? Would the men in the smaller groups be more responsive to oral meds for ED?
On average, the group with larger penises would be taller. Does ED affect taller men at the same rate as shorter men?

It’s not just brothers that round up their size. It’s been well documented that all men consistently overstate their size. Studies that ask men to report their size show an average length much higher than studies where their length is measured independently.
Even so, the main effect you see on this site is selection bias. Everything else being equal, who do you think is more likely to put his size in his signature, the guy with the 8 inch cock or the guy with the 4 inch cock? Who is more likely to post a picture of his cock? Who will be more comfortable talking about his cock? Who is more likely to overall have more of an interest in his cock, such that he is more likely to seek out radical treatment for ED as he ages?
I’m not aware of any correlation between cock size and ED. But I’m fairly certain there is a strong correlation between cock size and telling/showing people your big cock!

Born 1974. Implanted 5/21/2024. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.

Swiss, I know right, there’s a lot of big FrankTalk brothers out there! lol
I don’t worry about it, my slightly above average 6.5 inches is plenty enough for my petite Latina wifey! lol
As long as I can satisfy my wifey, that’s what matters.

I guess, size and ED are corelated to some extend, a bigger penis requires more blood flow, more volume needs to be filled, the tip/head is far from body compared to smaller dick. So, as we age, less random erections, or less fuller erection, and erectile tissues losing their elastic capability, and then ED, and even lower blood flow, cycle continues, and by the time we realize, we would be already lost significant size, and also ED, and then end up getting Implant. My theory, could be wrong.

100%.
The median or average erect penis length in the United States and globally is approximately 5.1 to 5.5 inches (12.95 to 13.97 cm),
There is little doubt that most here either overstate their outcomes or measure it incorrectly. But hey, who cares. If it makes one feel happier or more whole - more power to them.

Re: Honest question: are bonic brothers all above average, or we just rounding up?
I think the people here in the forum who are concerned with size loss etc are big to begin with. So franktalk is not a representative population. The average ipp size or most commonly used is 20 cm i think in the us. 18 cm in asia. Lots of 24/26 cm here. Even though i measure 23 cm and have a bpel of 7.25 inches- i think im not that big, but the reality is im above average for length and girth for an asian kid. Its like being in a gym, everyones jacked. I think im small at the gym but my height and weight clearly also put me above average compared to the average asian male
Became bionic 3/2026. Hakky - rigicon infla10ax 23 cm (22+1 rte). Chronic ed - tried pills, ved, bimix/trimix. Had mild venous leak on doppler. Took the plunge when ultrasound showed fibrosis and i knew it was only a matter of time before i needed one
