Trying to add photos but getting kicked out. Is the server overloaded?

Hi guys. I'm trying to upload a photo journal for my upcoming implant surgery, but I'm hitting a wall. Either I keep getting a General Error warning (1040, too many connections), or, if I manage to get to my draft post, I can upload only 3 pictures and it shuts down. They images are all under 200kb which is certainly within limits. Also, the pictures are landing above my paragraph or even inside it. Maybe that will smooth out once I get them posted. Maybe I just have to add 3 at a time and edit the post later with 3 more? That seems like a backward way to do this.

Is anyone else having funky errors today?

Bearskin I've been constantly getting the General Error warning (1040, too many connections) for the last week or two.
I had assumed everyone is. I'm guessing the site is overloaded due to reaching some limit, or subject to a DOS attack.

our site has been running like crap for weeks, im not a computer person and have no idea how to correct it.
ideas!?

The site software is out of date with the new updates.
The site and chatroom need to be updated to match the computers updates.
Would be great to have cams back in the chat room too.
