There's talk of undergoing Auxetic cuts or Tunica Expansion Procedure and upsizing implants on revision.
What I don't understand here is that the surgical capsule is formed on the first implantation (as there was obviously no foreign body there before). Upon creation, I understand once fully formed it can no longer be modified.
So then how can it be possible that any further expansion can happen whether by surgical cuts or by a larger implant? Surely, after first implant, whatever you achieve in those first few months is what the surgical capsule will be limited to and what your maximum size is forever?

IIRC, it’s micro incisions that expand like an accordion. Don’t matter if it’s the first implant or revision. The tissue is cut, stretched, heals.
So yes, an corpus cavernousum forms
with its implant, but upon a revision, whole new opportunity.
Been a while, but I do recall watching that procedure when I was down that rabbit hole…or was it a research paper? Think it was a paper.
