Same size soft and inflated

Postby 2thDr. » Sun May 10, 2026 8:10 pm

Hey guys, I hope I can get some feedback about some concerns I have. I am 2 1/2 weeks post-op, and have been pumping to max (discomfort/mild pain in tip) around three hours per day for 1 1/2 weeks.

Let me start off by saying I’m glad to have a dick that gets hard rather than one that doesn’t.

As stated in a previous post, I was completely prepared for a shorter length to start with, but not a smaller girth. (I was about 5.5” length and 5.75” girth in Jan with injection of trimix). I was focused only on the pumped measurements. Today, I did some before and after measurements, and I am concerned the there is very little difference in the two. Inflated is about 80 pumps. Please see photos. Has anybody else had a similar experience? Any ideas on the reason for this? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

It’s very early. It can take up to a year or more to get your full size.

My new cut-and-paste answer whenever guys bring up losing or gaining length:

There is no “losing” or “gaining” penis length.

Your corpora is the same size the day before your surgery as it is the day after your surgery.

The implant that is put in you is (if sized correctly) the same size as your corpora. It is also the same size the day before as it is after. In fact it generally is the same size the day it goes in as the day it comes out, with the exception of the LGX which theoretically lengthens a very small amount in laboratory conditions.

Those two things - your corpora and your implant - are essentially the same size. And both are the limit of how long your dick can get.

Over time (years), having a functional dick can stretch your corpora a bit, such that after a revision you might be able to fit a slightly larger implant. But your dick won’t be getting bigger than your current implant until you get a new one. And with a bit of cycling you can ensure it won’t be smaller, either.

So why does it seem like your dick is shorter right after surgery but gets longer over time?

A combination of swelling and general post-surgery adjustment means your implant is either hidden by your swollen penis or otherwise scrunched up and not fully extended.

It can take several weeks to several months for the swelling to go down and for the implant to fully extend.

That’s why it seems to grow. But it was the same size the whole time. It just needed to adjust. Cycling helps that adjustment.

All of this is to say: you are going to wind up at roughly what you were immediately before implantation. Not bigger. Not smaller. Same size. It’s just going to take a while for it to happen.

There is no magic. Cycling does not make your implant or your corpora get bigger. It just helps them adjust. Lots of guys tend to confuse cycling with exercising for muscle growth. They think if they cycle aggressively, their dick gets bigger like muscles get bigger. But that’s nonsense. All you are trying to do is to get the implant to adapt and fully extend.

There may be some small variation in length in the end, one centimeter either way at most. If you perceive something different, it is largely your perception. If you hear something different from other dudes, remember that guys are largely unreliable when it comes to discussing the length of their dicks. Scientific studies consistently show that guys’ dicks wind up the same size once the implant has settled in - but that guys’ perceptions are wildly inaccurate.

Girth is a bit different. The implant will extend outwards over time, to the limit of your corpora, so you may experience girth growth over time. Or you may not. Perito exercises can be helpful for that, along with cycling.

Relax. Give it time. Don’t hurt your dick aggressively cycling. You will in all likelihood wind up where you were before, with a functional hard dick that is gonna drive your partner(s) wild. Recover, have fun and be well.
