Hi guys, been a new member for a little while now, just haven't felt comfortable to post. I have been doing a lot of research on the page, thanks to all that contributed, answered a lot of my initial implant questions.
Dealing with ED for over 8yrs now due to a heart attack, type 2 diabetes and nerve damage from back issues, ah..the warranty is off lol. Im 55yrs old. To say that ED has affected me and my wife is an understatement, we had great sex chemistry and we're very compatible with each other. She's been beyond great and supportive but it's bothering both of us. Of course for me depression, anxiety and the loss of confidence is high. All my health issues haven't helped either.
Started with pills, no effect and shitty side effects. Went to trimix next and after being reassured by my urologist it was going to change my life it was truly devastating when after going up to 100 units over months I saw no results, it was just shit!
I have a pretty severe venous leakage. No morning wood for years. What's interesting is during arousal I can still get semi hard, but no where near enough for piv sex. Yet trimix had no effect.
I've been useing an osbon erecaid VED now for awhile. I can build a great erection with the device but it's been so GD difficult and costly getting the right ring combination to hold the erection without very bad pain. Still haven't found the righ combination. Ah....it's disappointing seeing a nice thick erection in the tube and not being able to use it because of nasty pain from the rings.
I've finally made the decision to proceed with a implant. Hopefully see my urologist in May to start the journey. I've been maintaining the daily VED usage for 15min a day just to keep things stretched. Im 6in long and 6 in girth with the constriction ring, close to what I was before ED. Pushing 6.7 in length and much girther in the tube. Of course I'm terrified I'm going to lose what the good lord gave me.
Thanks for listening!

Re: New to the board
Greetings and welcome to FrankTalk. You have certainly worked your way through the other options for ED treatment. Implant sounds like you best bet at this point.
Where are you located and what surgeons are you considering? It’s important to pick a great one. That will give you the best chance of keeping what the good lord gave you.

GoodWood I'm located in Canada. Fortunately our medical system covers the surgery and implant fully where I live. I have three doctors to deal with. I'm in the process of asking questions to make a decision. My current urologist is one of the three. Thanks for replying by the way.
