How long did it take for you to have sex without pain or discomfort?

Re: Sex without pain
Ravh, everyone heals different, but for me it was 4 to 5 months before PIV sex was normal again at max inflation more than 30 to 40 minutes, without pain or discomfort at the end of those minutes.
I was really concerned about the pain and discomfort in my glans, I thought that I would never get past 20 minutes before I would cry uncle with the pain and have to deflate.
It gets better every week, hang in there,

Thanks, i'm only a week out and I also have a stinging pain in my glans when I inflate. I can't wait until it goes.
Are you now able to stay hard for as long as you want without pain?

Re: Sex without pain
Ravh,
I have no doubt you have pain when inflating a week out. Did your doctor advise you to inflate a week out? A Google search of virtually every IPP urologist that posts online do not advise inflating a week out. My doctor said that I was not to inflate at all until 6 weeks at post-op exam. He said this was to avoid damage to healing tissue and to not damage the incisions. I know other members have posted they were advised to start earlier, and I am a believer in following the doctors instructions. But a week out seems excessive and I certainly would expect a lot of pain.
Also, it would be very helpful to everyone on FT if you would fill out your signature line with age, implant type, date of implant and any other history that might be helpful to members when responding.
