scar

Postby Bionic_Brian » Sat Feb 14, 2026 9:35 am

Hi everyone,
Can you tell me what the surgical scar will look like after, say, a year?

I think I have a pretty large scar (this photo is from one day after surgery), and I'm just curious if it will always be visible, or if it will fade?

I’m about a year in and I can’t really find my scar. I can barely feel it when I try to find it. I suspect yours will mostly disappear.

For sure it will dissappear, in 3-4 months you won't see anything

Brian, 15 yrs. ago, I had an operation on top of my hand that had the same type of scar you you have... Could not believe it the 1st time the bandages were removed.. Doc said; Looks great. ! Not to me, I replied ...He said just wait.... Now, Can not see it.... I could do hand modeling now....! Hang loose...Wishing you the best...!

P.S. forgot to mention; It did not take 15 yrs. to look good... As I remember, approx. short of a year..
