Chris1967, lots of guys, maybe even most guys, feel engorgement -- which is part of an erection. But I don't know of any guy who has a full-on, hard, erection after being implanted because the tissue that creates a male erection is either gone or mostly pushed aside for the implant cylinders.

Since the parts required to achieve an erection are removed during the implantation it is impossible to get a solid erection after being implanted. Engorgement is possible, the feeling of morning wood is possible, but not a hard erection.

Agree. I get engorgement at times, especially at the brink of orgasm when I'm extremely aroused.
Also sometimes first thing in the morning. It can feel like an erection may happen, but it never eventuates.
I don't believe it is possible, but I'll take what I'm getting as none of it was present pre implant.

Recently not as much but for the first few years, I would get enough engorgement with Viagra that I used only a few pumps. If I pump too much, my penis became harder but flatter and the blood got pushed out.

Without sufficient blood flow, sex is not enjoyable at all (for me).

I definitely get erections on top of? around? my implant.
My natural erections (although shitty) were implrtant to me and part of why I did injections for 10 years before getting an implant.

But the great news is that when I get turned on, I still get the same familiar stirring feeling. If I’m just solo I often just add a few pumps. But if I’m having penetrating sex I pump further so I’m rigid enough for penetration. But I don’t pump to 100%. The only time I pump to absolute maximum is when I’m cycling to stretch/exercise the implant.

So, if you are still getting erections (although inadequate for sex) and are concerned about losing them, go to a great implant surgeon. Chances are you will still retain some erectile function.

Still have the hard wired "if you see something that arouses you, you feel it" sensory. Morning wood has been replaced with, as others say, engorgement but nothing like you would have been used to with a normal functioning member.

Did the arousal part and being able to engorge to completion come back after a while of feeling dead? I still don’t have full sensation on the underside.

In the mornings I often get that stirring feeling, and some engorgement. My glans gets very full in the mornings. Not an erection per se, but many of the same feelings.

I often wake up an hour or two before I need to get up. I use this as an opportunity to do one of my daily cycles. I pump up to a rock-hard 100%, then doze or even go back to sleep. It feels very natural, and much like strong morning wood. I get in an hour or even 90min of full inflation this way, and it doesn’t interfere with daily activities and is a great way to start the day.
