First Sex With Implant

Hey all, last night I had my first sex since I was implanted October 21.

It was good and felt very natural, but I wasn’t able to orgasm, and believe me we tried every position over several hours. I think the primary issue is that my glans was a bit overly sensitive, and sometimes I could feel the implant tips inside the glans.

At a few points the tips were actually painful, particularly with the woman on top. We had a great time, but she was frustrated that she couldn’t make me come. I told her it’s common during the healing process.

Was I right about this? Common issue and will it get better over time?

It sure was fun to not have to worry about my erection, and to vary my hardness as needed.

Hey Elbow, it’s awesome to hear that you’re already back in the saddle!!

I’m obviously not implanted (yet) but I feel like in many of the journals I’ve read, initial challenges during sex are common as you’re still healing and your body is still getting used to the implant.

Elbowroom, I was implanted on 9/5 and still have the same issue and my wife is frustrated too. For me I feel the issue is numbness at the underside of my penis. It starts about half way down and extends to the "pucker" on my sack. I'm of the understanding the feeling will come back with time. The issue doesn't concern me and the implant works great. Yeppers that’s the way it was with me as well. Reason we say not to pump up all the way at the beginning, also slow and easy strides till you heal a bit more. The second time my wife and I had sex it was in shower ( 3 1/2 weeks ) and I was slamming a bit harder than I wanted but it was a long time since we were able to fuck in shower and I could feel tubing slamming with my balls with every thrust. Now it’s all great, I can fuck at any amount of pumps and intensity, I don’t always cum but that’s the way I was before implant.

Thanks! Yes, I still have numbness on the underside lower half of my penis, so that could definitely contribute. I’m not as concerned about it as my new partner is, she *really* wants to get me off. How great is that?!?

Cool thanks. She was very impressed with my stamina, we literally fucked for hours. But it is a lot easier when your limiting factor is cardio endurance where you can take breaks, vary the intensity, etc…and not losing your erection.

ElbowRoom, congrats on first sex ! Everything you described sounds similar to what I went thru. Pain in the glans tapered and went away completely after a month or so. And at 10+ months post-op, I have a lot of sensitivity back -- still some to go.
