I'm only 6 weeks in , lost some size and still in pain and too sore to have sex but even now I have no regrets.
Its amazing Knowing when the cycling pain stops, I will have amazing sex, no worry about losing my erection. On demand erection.

If you got this far with your ED, you only have two options.

1. Implant and everything that comes with it (good and bad).
2. Celibacy.

Code: Select all

Just had an amazing Sunday morning in bed, bonking my lovely wife till we were both exhausted and sore, every thrust a delight.

Not a single regret.

I didn’t have a choice, so no regrets. I just had an interesting conversation with Grok, and it said (while providing some charts) that by 2028 - 2030 mechanical failure with a penile implant will be near to absolute zero (not counting potential complications from infection, though those rates will also be reduced). That’s the thing about the implant; the tech will only get better. See the post I put up here about the Coloplast’s imminent new tubing.

This is incredibly good news, the option of having an erection on demand with no concerns regarding mechanical issues.

Great philosophical question :D. Thanks for asking.

I think I have no regrets. One hiccup I have is that I’m experiencing delayed climaxing during masturbation and am unable to climax during sex. My nerve healing is taking forever. I used a world-class surgeon, and I know he tried his best. It's still a big step higher than ED for me personally.

I took citrus bioflavonoids to speed up healing. Are you taking anything to help with nerve regeneration, like b-complex or ALCAR?

Absolutely no regrets, even with some post op Peyronie's. I tried just about every conservative treatment for 3 years after my prostatectomy due to prostate cancer. That surgery caused my 100% Erectile Dysfunction and I really struggled with that and other side effects. Pills never worked at all (Sildanefil and Tadalafil). Trimix injections worked briefly then consistently failed, and caused fibrosis/scarring that has impacted me post implant. Focal shockwave therapy was worse than useless. Using a VED was a partial solution but very unsatisfactory for sex. So for me the implant has been a game changer, restoring my pre ED size and giving me sexual powers and enjoyment I didn't think possible.
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC/nerve sparing RRP Mar 22 then profound ED. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED.
Implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal. Back to 6.5" BPEL @ 9m.
Recovery great but have a bend.

I’ve only tried the dopamine promoter - cabergoline, and it didn’t help. Thanks for those suggestions, F1! I’ll look into them.

5 years ago I had ED but could still get hard enough for mediocre sex with shots, pills and a pump.

It was a lot of effort for sex that barely felt good, came with a lot of anxiety and was often disappointing for my wife.

This slowly got worse until I really couldn't have real sex anymore and trying to was causing stress in my marriage.

6 months ago I learned what was really involved with an IPP. 5 months ago I learned it might be covered by my insurance. 4 months ago I met dr Taj and 3 months ago I got my titan implanted.

Lets compare for a second: in July if i wanted to try to have sex i had to take 20mg cialis, a 2x dose of quadmix, at least 1 stiff drink and maybe id get hard enough to penetrate my wife for 3 or 4 minutes in a way that wasn't great for me or her.

Now we have sober, stress free daytime sex without pills or shots that both of us really enjoy.

The first month after surgery was challenging but I have never for a second regretted it.

Coloplast titan 26 cm placed on 8/26/25 by Dr Taj
~8" before IPP but not "hard" enough for pvi.
Tried everything as things progressed:
Pills, pumps, prp, trt, gainswave, peptides, trimix, quadmix and a vibrating ring.
