I was implanted 3-1/2 years ago and for the most part was satisfied with what I got. Had very easy recovery and was able to gently use it 3 weeks after implant. My problem..
I had double hernia with mesh about 25 years prior to implant and my surgeon was nervous about getting thru it so put my reservoir just under the muscle directly on my waistline. At the time of surgery I was 235 pounds and over the last couple years I’ve lost down to 185-190. The reservoir barely showed at first but now bulges out like half an egg! I’m a maintenance mechanic at a big plant and have to work on heavy equipment occasionally. The bulge has become an issue. It’s directly under my waist line and my pants rub on it. If I lean over a table or anything it smashes it and is very uncomfortable.
Also the last couple months my wife has complained that the tips of my implants are poking her deep inside and has become painful. Don’t think I have any issue other than possibly slightly undersized and the gland rolls over the top and at certain angles they poke her. Thinking over time the rear tips have dug there way in and I’ve become a little short which has lead to slightly floppy glands. I get great engorgement but I have a small glans on the bottom side so the tips of implant do poke out if the gland rolls over the top and exposes the tips. The skin is really thin and I’m concerned with erosion. I’ve always read that revisions usually get at least 2cm longer because the rear tips generally dig in over time. I’ll also say that although I had a lot of stretching pressure on girth after initial implant I never once felt like the tips were pushing into the back of the gland. May have been slightly short all along.
Just got an appointment with Clavell for January 12 to have a look see and decide from there. I’ve read that there’s several things he can do to anchor the glans or even pad the tips some. Also possibly consider a CX as the tips are not so sharp and would be interesting to see how the other brand works. Would however be concerned about the CX not having as much girth. I do like my titan though. If I go back with a titan I’ll definitely consider the one touch pump and see how it stacks up against the classic with its quacking noise on every pump. Stay tuned in January I’ll get back with what Dr C has to say.

Re: Possible revision
Rider1400, really sorry to hear about those issues and potential need for a revision. FWIW, with Chrome in "AI Mode", I searched using "what is the procedure to anchor the glans in an IPP procedure" and it produced an interesting description of anchoring the glans. Also FWIW, my Dr once told me that the addition of padding between the glans and cylinders is a well established and effective procedure.
Best wishes in navigating thru that, we'll be anxious to hear how things go.
