In erectile dysfunction treatment for venus leak, embolization can be used, but its long term prognosis if not good because the body over time will recreate canals and re open the venus leak. From a theoretical perspective, I was wondering if anti-angiogenic drugs could help mitigate this? These are already licensed for use in oncology. Alternatively, I wonder if some sort of glue could be used that would provide a physical barrier to help prevent re-canalization?
Where do people feel future research will go in this area?
