Alone and cycling

Postby browny30 » Wed Oct 22, 2025 12:36 pm

Hello all,

I've started cycling now and it's somewhat a little difficult to cycle as long as I want to, I'm doing 30 mins x 2 a day which is sufficient, now my wife and kids are heading to the in laws for the half term holidays. I'll be working from home and have a few days off in between.

I'm looking to go all out with the cycling, I mean have it pumped for majority of the time and possibly while sleeping, only deflating and pumping at intervals to break in the pump and deflate button.

Is this something would you recommend?
Has anyone done this and what were the results?

I work from home 4/5 days and I've had it over a year. When home alone I cycle it and leave it as long as I can. I keep throwing in a few more pumps when I think I'm maxed. Do the stretching routines in all directions and add in some pumps.

I've also pumped it and left it over night the odd time but I often wake up very sore in the area if I end up rolling on my front during the night.

Thanks for replying, did you notice any gains?

Yeah there was definitely a difference. I was quite disappointed after surgery and managed to get some back. More than what my surgeon thought I was going to get, he was a bit surprised. Still unhappy over all with size but I'm going to get a second opinion on that.
