Hey y'all
I'm about 6-7 months post op with a malleable implant (Coloplast Genesis). I was never big to begin with.. but after my surgery I definitely lost some girth and just a bit of length. Nonetheless, I really like how easy it is to fuck around with the malleable.
Personally, I would still recommend to everyone to exhaust all your options before going to surgery. Try PT-141 peptides or Trimix. If that still doesn't work maybe consider surgery.
That said, I still would prefer a malleable over inflatable since there are less parts and less risk for revision. I love how easy it is to fuck around with my malleable. It's awesome.
I'm now considering going back to my urologist for HA (hyaluronic acid) fillers. So hopefully that might restore some girth.
I'm curious to know are there any guys out there with a malleable AND got fillers? If so, how was your results and how was your recovery? My initial surgery recovery time was honestly miserable and took me 8 weeks to be normal again so I really don't want to be getting fillers and then being miserable for a few weeks.
My main concern is infection, the fillers hitting the rod, and also whether there is any real value in doing it (especially long term).

Re: HA Fillers (Phallofill/UroFill) + Malleable Implants
As I understand it, infection is the main concern since it could impact the implant and require surgery to remove and replace the rods. But infection rates are low when you go to a surgeon who is high volume for HA fillers and Urofill / etc.
Anecdotally, I’ve read that HA fillers are sometimes better with malleable than inflatable because obviously there’s no risk of puncturing cylinders!
User ready2go I believe is planning on getting fillers somewhat soon, and he has a Tactra. I’d look him up here and also wait and see if he posts about it soon.
Glad to hear you’re getting good mileage with your Genesis! How is the rigidity? I’m also not a huge guy / don’t have a ton of size to begin with. I’m leaning towards the malleable because I’m younger and honestly value the less surgeries / less risk angle of things.

Diagnosed with venous leak after having ED majority of my life. Grateful to have some answers, and considering both MPP and IPP as options.

Dr. Eduardo Bertero is a UroFill provider in Brazil. I know they do more MPPs there. He has some UroFill FAQs on his website:
What kind of care will be needed after the procedure?
The penis will be covered with a loose bandage for 24 hours to prevent bruising and ensure protection. A 3- to 4-day break is also recommended before resuming any sexual activity. These measures help ensure a smooth recovery and satisfactory long-term results. https://urologia-sp.com.br/engrossamento-peniano/
Here are couple of UroFill studies that included IPP implanted individuals and some comments on infections:
563 patient multicenter UroFill study (US+Brazil)
-26% (146) of patients had an IPP.
-Superficial skin infection rate = 5% (28/563), managed entirely in outpatient settings with oral doxycycline.
-Most infections linked to protocol non-adherence (early sex or shaving).
-No penile prosthesis infections or device damage reported.
