Infrapubic Shorten Penetrative Length?

If you use the infrapubic method can you feel lots of tubing pushing out from your fat pad, around the base of your penis?

Like, does it reduce your overall penetrative length by reducing the depth of the base of your penis?

I think there's videos of Dr. Eid talking about this on youtube. He does perform penoscrotal as well.

I saw the Eid video. I wonder if it's a big problem with infrapubic. My fat pad area is like 1 - 2cm deep so I wouldn't want to lose that extra depth.

I'm not chubby, so there's hardly any fat over my pubic bone and it's the same with my wife.
As a result, I initially could feel the infrapubic scar getting in between us during missionary sex, and as that diminished, I can now feel the tubing at the very base of my dick as I'm grinding away.

I'm not sure if that has reduced penetration depth much - maybe 1/2 to 1 cm? - but it somewhat detracts from the very enjoyable balls-deep bone-on-bone sensation pre op.

I had infrapubic and after the swelling went down I could barely feel the tubing… fast forward after the first year I had lost almost 40 pounds and now you can see just a hint of tubing dead center going to my left. If you feel deep in you can feel the tubing tight around the left side and it’s grown into the tissue around it I guess because it’s so tight you can’t move it. As far as loosing penetrative depth I wouldn’t think so. Unless you have zero fat and she has zero fat it would just mash into the fat pad. I can feel it and often wonder about damaging it when burying deep and grinding around…. But, if it does, it does…. I’ll get it replaced. Often wonder about changing to scrotal next time if that’s even an option. Either way I’ll deal with it when the time comes. So far 3 years and 6 months and going strong!

I know others might differ. But I don't see any reason for the pubic approach. I've read that the recovery might be a bit easier. But how could you actually fairly compare the difference. I did ask my dr about pubic. Not an option. He said that the nerve damage risk wasn't worth whatever might be realized.

Just my novice opinion. Try saving a few pain pills from dental work or be very diligent on rotating acetaminophen & ibuprofen. I felt my recovery was kind of a middle experience. Only 1-2 days after the pain pills were gone was difficult. My wife claims I'l a lite weight on pain.

I had Both really no difference i can see other then my new one actually has more tubbing problems then the first and it was penoscrotal my new one is terrible tubbing problems

Ok so with infrapubic you can't feel tubing at the base/fat pad area of the penis?

oh yes i could but not as bad as my new one... i don't think you will ever get one no matter how its installed and not feel some tubing but all i can say is find the best doc that does a lot of implants and outcomes will be minimal
