Just got a mechanic willy

Postby browny30 » Mon Oct 06, 2025 8:41 am

Hi everyone,
I finally did it, I was implanted on two days ago and came home yesterday.

I'm in quite some pain and in bed using frozen peas and just watching shitloads of movies and playing video games.

I got the LGX model 18cm with 2cm rte. There was a note on there saying they attempted 3cm rte but didn't fit. So I'm hoping I've definitely got the biggest size for me considering I was a little over 5 inches length. Never got to see it in an erect state as I'm abit of a wuss and was freaked out by the swelling and tubing. I liked the girth but I'd imagine that's not staying for long lol.

Right now I'm flaccid and swelling has gone down slightly, it's day three but hopefully the pain will go down considerably soon.

I still haven't managed to have a poo yet, I'm on laxatives and prune so hopefully soon, This is really the longest I've ever gone without taking a dump and feel gassy as hell.

Hope I'm not putting anyone off , this is expected and the first few weeks isn't an easy ride.

Sorry If this isn't helping anyone, I just wanted express to people other than the other half. I can't imagine telling my friends about it soon.

browny30, congrats and welcome to the bionic brotherhood ! The post-op symptoms you describe are familiar to many, though everyone's experience is unique. Ice, ice, ice. And yes, especially for those of us who had to take strong pain meds, pooping is/was a very real challenge :(

Hang in there, you'll be back in action before you know it !

Well done browny30 and welcome.
It sounds like they sized you correctly. I have an LGX and love it.
Yes it can be challenging early on but will get much better as you recover.
Then you can enjoy your new toy like so many of us! :D

Hey man.
Congrats on getting through the worst part of it. By day 3 or 4 I turned a corner & got better fast- I got my blood drain removed then. Lots of icing & movies/video games was my jam too. 2 weeks out i was back at the gym (lightly) & having to work (lightly) as well.

Come to the board of you have any questions but sounds like you're right where you should be. It sucks but gets better & better. Thank God for western medicine!

Thanks everyone, just getting past the worse part and then hopefully enjoy myself.

Can I just ask, when did you guys start handling your bits properly?
I mean for me it's very sore, so when I pee, it hurts when i clench to empty myself and I'm practically jumping up and down to drain the urine. I can't touch it properly apart from using an anti bac wipe to clean my self, i struggle to lift it off my balls and on to my stomach. It feels stiff and heavy.

Apologies for the many questions, I'll be honest, the aftercare wasn't great, I got mine on the NHS (which I'm forever grateful for) but there were about four of us that day. I was wheeled out on to the ward, my surgeon spoke to be super briefly to tell me all went well, this was just as I woke up so groggy.

Was taken in the ward and kept for two nights. Both days it was a different Dr, first one unwrapped me and deflated me, second one told me they will be sending me home and no sex for 6 weeks (that's it). I have an appointment in 2 weeks for cycling instructions.

I read someone saying they were cycling on day three.....hooow!!!

Hey browny30, just popping in to say congratulations on your implant, I hope your recovery goes very well!

Also, “mechanic willy” gave me a good chuckle

Congrats!!!!

Welcome to the Bionic Brotherhood. We are all here for you. Hang in there, it gets better as the days go by.

First things first. While most of us have been through this process and will offer our experience and advice, it is vitally important that you follow YOUR doctors instructions. If anything someone says here contradicts your doc, follow your doc. If you aren’t sure what your doc’s instructions are about something write/email/call them to find out. Following someone else’s doctors instructions could cause trouble or worst case scenario get you infected.

As long as you are taking pain medication with a narcotic component to it, your gut will be moving REALLY slowly. As soon as you can stop those and switch to entirely non-narcotic pain meds the better off your gut will be. Keep up with the laxatives and the high fiber drinks/diet. Drink lots of water. Go for a walk. All things that will help move everything along and get you feeling better.

Ice ice ice ice for the first few days will help with discomfort. After that I found a heating pad soothing.

Get lots of rest. Take it easy. Get your feet up when you can.

One day at a time it will get better.

Congrats! You are on the road to recovery.
