Leaky valve?

Postby Life Renewed » Thu Sep 25, 2025 9:21 am

So, I'm just 4 weeks post implant. Most things seem to be recovered pretty well, except for some balloon like swelling on one side of my scrotum. (Hydrocele?) Doc says this will eventually subside.

I've started cycling, but I've noticed that the implant doesn't seem to hold pressure. I'll pump it up to 100% until my penis is sore and I can't squeeze the bulb with both hands using both my thumbs. About 5 minutes later, I realize it isn't sore anymore and then I can easily squeeze the bulb with one hand again. I'll pump it up full again and in about 5 minutes, it's the same thing.

Is this normal? Does it take a while for the valve to seat?

Completely contrasting this, I have a titan one touch. If by "one touch" they mean that you can deflate as long as you are holding the valve open, i.e. your "one touch" is one looooong touch, then ok. As soon as I release my fingers, it stops allowing deflation.

Any insights from anyone?

Life Renewed, that sounds like my cycling routine. Pump up until a dull pain, a few minutes later the dull pain goes away, and I put in a few mini-pumps until the dull pain returns. And I go thru that process 4 or 5 times until the dull pain stays for either the rest of the cycling period, or at least a much longer time. My doc says that's part of incremental stretching of tissue.

I received the Titan with the One Touch pump in late July. Exact same experience (just noticed a few days ago) and worries. I contacted my doctor by email but he misunderstood the question so I've been trying to rephrase it for clarity.

I'll be watching the responses.
