I welcome you all to list your conditions as I will list mine.
I invite you, Chuck, Duke, courage and Elbowroom...lets turn a new page.
Love this idea tooyoung. I like your input & think the young crowd experiences are valuable. I'm in the middle age group myself at 43 but had organic ED at your age already so I know how fuct it is. I don't like ganging up on ppl so have let y'all beef without getting involved but hopefully you guys sort it out & everyone sticks around & no one feels ostracized. Peace y'all

And this is not because I got a warning or I believe that I had insulted you personally before..It's because I think bashing each other made our arguments vanish in the fog.
If this is sincere, I welcome this.
I think you have some valuable input that can lead to meaningful "frank talk" here. But when your approach turns from informative or inquisitive to insulting and demeaning of members here, "fog" starts to quickly set in as many take insult and get distracted from the message(s).
I think most if not ALL of us want implants to be reliable and to live up to their promises. If some aren't willing to hear or accept your premises, how about respectfully disagreeing and keep the message going, positively? In addition to the active posters, you know there's hundreds of lurkers here that read everything. You should be trying to convince people to your opinion through reason, objectivity and respectfulness, not drive it down people's throat that don't agree with you by throwing insults, or gloating when things like insurance goes away.
I can respect you staying "true to yourself" and taking "the red pill", but how about looking at being liked here as a way to more effectively achieve your goals?

Don’t waste chalk mate. It’s useless. You‘re taking to a fake account.

Thank you for accepting the invitation...and thank you for appreciating atleast my intentions and my core arguments even if you disagree on some or all of em.
So I see that our point of dispute is the approach.
My tone and terminology will change from now on as long as speculations and being non-objective in an effort to deter core arguments cease....and I don't mean to be an ass but I don't care to be liked..not because I disrespect any of you It's just I believe this forum has a different purpose...I'm sure if we get to meet each other in real life we would be best friends and have a great time...this is a community of dads, brothers, husbands and sons who each has a distinct story...and it goes without saying that we are already heavily wounded with this nasty disease...I was surprised that this has to be brought up when discussing why companies haven't fixed tubing issues in 35 years.
I'm not going to get into the troll, not a troll, fake not fake crap. I don't really give a shit, except how people interact here. Interact shitty and I'm going to speak up. I'm here, as I hope everyone else is, to help and be helped with fucking ED.
I think if you consistently have a respectful tone and terminology, that over time that non-objective effort you speak of will diminish greatly. If it doesn't, ignore that "fog" and stick to message. Respectfully. It's much easier to take you seriously and examine your message that way.
If you continue to knee jerk and come back with insults in response to reactions you don't like, then it'll just go back to how it's been. Let go and keep focused, respectfully. Someone's gotta be the bigger man... or this place will just continue to degrade.
I want to believe your last paragraph. Hope I"m not just being naive. Guess we'll see soon enough

Sure, bygones. The only condition I'd have is to treat people with respect even when you disagree and don't berate them for their opinions and decisions.
I don't think anyone minds that your take on implants isn't similar to many here, I welcome a dissenting view. I think your abrasive style of expressing that opinion is what irks me, and probably others.
A little diplomacy goes a long way.

I wasn't at war. I haven't mentioned you or responded to your hysterics for a long while. You're just a nut. I continue to regard everything you say through that prism.

I'm already 27 with refractory ED and all my life has come to halt..I completed my USMLE steps (except step 3) and was coming to the U.S pursuing big dreams..But the reality of refractory ED and need for implantation at a young age hit and my life turned upside down...I took my time to accept the new reality and my life took drastic changes...I accepted it and still accepts it..I'm not a quitter..and implant is a must not a choice..just as a prosthetic heart valve....But I realized the implant industry needs huge reforms...most importantly the weakest link in the chain : the IPP tubes in Titan.
It pisses me off when someone questions my empathy![]()
it's a very naive and empty accusation

It's neither a matter of sympathy nor empathy here...I'm a fucking sufferer hereSurgeons and implant companies should have empathy for me.
...but as a doctor I know it will never be the case...because it will always be "follow the money" especially in our lovely capitalism...that's why I push for proper feedback..And that's why I celebrated the medicare's cease of ipp coverage..not out of apathy for sufferers..fuck my empathy/apathy..it doesn't matter...it's because that's a huge start for proper feedback and law suits..the only incentive for companies to fix crappy parts.
I'm sorry for your ED issues, especially at your age. I can't imagine it and wish you the best.
I hear your points, and I agree with some of them.
1) I agree, Coloplast needs to fix their tubing problem. They've let it go on far too long. I also think that BS needs to improve their pumps and cylinders based on what I've been hearing and seeing in the studies.
2) I can see the point you're trying to make re insurance dropping coverage. However, this may or may not motivate device improvement depending on their reasoning. But, it will immediately force elderly ED sufferers to cough up the $$ or lose hope of curing their ED... for who knows how long? Also there's no guarantee that this is limited to only IPPs and not for MPPs as well. And if the bulk of other insurance carriers start denying, then it leaves everyone having to pay out of pocket or go without an effective ED treatment. And members here, especially those wanting an implant option, see a celebration of this denial as rather cruel, despite your altruistic reasoning.
A class action lawsuit would probably get action though
