Hair loss because of testosterone therapy?
I wonder how many of you have noticed hair loss due to testosterone therapie (TRT)? In case of hair loss, how severe is it and did you use 10-12 week interval injections ( i e Nebido ) or gel?

Re: Hair loss because of testosterone therapy?
I'm 58, been on TRT since my 30s.
I always had a full head of hair, but now I have serious male pattern baldness. It took a long time (over a decade plus), first thinning in back, then bald spot, and finally more severe hair loss.
It's no big deal, it's just hair. I have more lean muscle mass and more energy than any other 58 year-old that I know. Losing the hair is an easy trade-off. Don't try to retain it, just let it go and shave your head. A lot of women like that anyway.

I am 68 years old and have been on Androgel for at least 15 years. I have the same small bald spot on the back top my head my father had. Completely genetic. Not noticeable as my hair is thick and combs over the spot. I have been pretty lucky with my hair.
One of the warnings that comes with Androgel is to wash off your hands and keep off areas that you don't want hair to grow. So not sure if it differs from other TRT treatments.

Not happening to me in 26 years of TRT.
Age 80 in 2025. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.
