Cycling Pain
In a couple days I wil be at week 3 and I have my third appointment since the surgery. I will start cycling then and I woinder what has been everyone' s experience when they started cycling in terms of pain? The doc said that after the next appointment I will be ready to have sex that very night. How realistic is that?

Re: Cycling Pain
Cycling does make some pain in the beginning and you'll see how much and how long you can take the pain, but it subsides with some time, like 2-3 weeks.
I don't think, you'll be able to have sex all night long after your next appointment like 3 weeks postop
Best

Blicks, it sounds like you had the infrapubic install and you heal up quicker, because you don't have as much scrotal trauma.
I started cycling at 6 weeks and it was painful when the nurse deflated me and asked me to inflate it back up as much as I could, I could barely get in 10 pumps because of the pain.
Yes, there is pain with cycling, my doctors protocol was twice a day for 20 minutes in the shower and during those days, I had a lot of discomfort and pain the last few minutes when cycling, but it gets better every day and every week. I thought that the pain wouldn't go away too and I reached out to some of my FrankTalk brothers and they said that it would pass and it did.
I was cleared for sex at 6 weeks but I waited till 8 weeks to have sex, but it was painful and I had numbness in my shaft and glans. Sex was awkward and not great because of the pain and numbness. Sex for me got great again around the 4 to 6 month point.
All of us heal different, so who knows how sex for you will turn out the first time. It might be great.
Good Luck Blicks, you'll be fine

Re: Cycling Pain
I also found cycling somewhat painful initially, but the more and longer I've done it the easier it has become.
Now I can remain 100% erect for an hour and there is very little discomfort, usually only the last 15 minutes or so and it's tolerable.
My surgeon's protocol is 6 weeks partially erect 24/7, then deflation and cycling from 6 weeks.
At 3 weeks I could not have even considered cycling, let alone have sex. I had penoscrotal surgery, so your experience may be different.
One thing to remember is that you will have full control over inflation pressure and length of time erect.
If it's too painful, release the pressure and/or reduce the length of time to what you can comfortably tolerate, then gradually increase both.
Eventually you will probably start to enjoy it, at least that's what I've found. Let us know how you go.

Re: Cycling Pain
Began cycling on week 6, first week little pain while cycling but you deal the hardness so don't rush. I'm almost week 8 and just some discomfort in the head but it's because I pump to Max, wait and pump to Max again for 20 min or so.
Never tried to stay 1hour for now because I don't give me the time to be inflated as long but I think I could handle 30 min without any problems
