Cylinder in glans

Postby Nico_from_belgium » Mon Jun 02, 2025 2:40 pm

Hi guys, I'm a week in cycling and concerned about the cylinder tips position in glans.
I can now reach something like 18 -20 pumps and I can still feel the base of the tips (so not the pointi part) just below my glans when I touch on both sides. When I watch my glans from my point of view the base of the tips are in the glans but not when I touch the side of my shaft or the shortest part of my glans, I still can feel the end of the cylinder. I've tried to touch the tips but can't feel them so I think they are in the glans.

Does anyone can tell me if the tips will go further in glans with cycling or not?
I'm a little bit worried because firstly my glans isn't really firm and because i'm afraid that while sex it will hurt me or my partner as for now, when I touch this part of my penis, it's really sensitive.

Nico, When I first started cycling I also had some concerns that the cylinders may not be far enough into the glans. As the weeks have passed and I have mostly been cycling three times a day, things have improved. Now both cylinders are well into the glans, although a bit unevenly.
My left side is in about halfway and my right is in about 2/3. My dick has a bend to the right, which I think is probably the reason for the unevenness.
My glans is now comfortable during PIV sex and does not seem floppy. I have the AMS LGX, which has claimed length (and girth) expansion properties, so I don't know if that has helped. I read that your Titan should expand primarily in girth, but I would hope that any implant would also have at least a limited amount of "give" in length with regular cycling, seeing that they are all made from materials with elastic properties.
For comparison, at 12 weeks it now takes me about 40 pumps until I'm fully erect and hard (I know we have different pumps). And I can get the cylinders further into the glans with more pumps but it can become very uncomfortable if I leave it like that for an extended period.
Are you saying that you can't feel the tips at all by pressing down from the end of the glans? I can feel them whether I'm erect or flaccid.

Recovery going well.

Hi no I can't feel the tips when I push my head of the glans even if I can't shrink the glans all the way down (I'm talking when not aroused). It's like the only thing that I feel is the part where the cylinder ends and the tip begins and I can feel it at the side of my glans.
To be completely correct, as you, the left cylinder is higher in the glans than the right side and once inflated, my glans tend to slightly bend left side. When I manually tear on the skin on the right the tip goes further in the glans and it seems better.
I try to manually press on the cylinder when erected to push it in the glans but it doesn't seem to help.
When I'm aroused the tips are more in the glans but the head is not as firm as I would.
I hope that with cycling my Titan will go further in the glans but I'm not sure about that either. Or maybe that my shaft will shrink enough to touch the tips.
When I finish cycling, I can feel on the inside of the glans that there was some pushing (it burns a bit) and when I push to max pumping it feels the same.

I thought about something today while cycling. When I was young, I broke the tinny skin that we usually have between the glans and the shaft. I don't know how to call it. But maybe that the absence of this brake makes my glans too mobile.

I don't think I can call it floppy but in my advice really not as firm as I would for have an intercourse.

I learned in implants 101 that the surgeon should use traction sutures to pull the cylinder well into the glans. I think leaving it short of the glans is laziness or incompetence. I know some guys have started that way and eventually the tips ended up in the glans, but that's not how it's supposed to go.

Yes I get that post cycling discomfort also. I assume it means that the cylinders are putting pressure on the glans (which I'm guessing is a good thing).
No, I don't think you can manually push the cylinder tips into the glans. I have been massaging the bulbar urethral area at base of the penis behind the scrotum (for other medical reasons, not implant related) but I think it may help push the cylinders forward a little.

I think you mean the frenulum - the very sensitive area of skin on the underside of the penis immediately behind the glans that causes arousal and orgasm. Did the frenulum skin fully heal? If yes I would not think it should be a weak spot (but I'm not a urologist). More likely any lack of firmness is from cylinder position. My own experience is that my glans has become much firmer with cycling and is now comfortable during PIV sex.
It looks like you are only about 4 weeks post op? If you have been cleared for cycling my suggestion is continue to cycle, cycle, cycle and hopefully things will improve eventually.

Hi, my surgeon used traction sutures but I heard that when he pulled on one suture broke but I assume it went far enough otherwise hopely he would have done it again.

Yes I'll try to chill and cycle.

My frenulum isn't there no more because it was split in 2 and I had only a thin piece of skin that was removed.
