His painful is a revision surgery?
Is it less painful than ten years of anxious sex, failures in bed, and being told “Try these pills. Try these injections. Try this device. Try this talk therapy. Try again.”?

Revision surgery pain
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".

Re: Revision surgery pain
I haven’t undergone a revision, but in theory, the corporal space has already been created and fibrous capsule is already matured. This means less aggressive dilation is needed leading to less surgical trauma and post-op pain. This is assuming there’s no infection or extensive scarring to clear...but like with everything in surgeries, every patient is different.
40, ED all my life. Pills worked great until they didn't. Jan 2025 Coloplast Genesis malleable. 22cm x 13mm. 1 cm RTE.

Re: Revision surgery pain
I just had a revision replacing my pump on April 2, 2025. somehow it got disconnected from my cylinders.
They went through my scrotum to replace it, and
the surgery was done without the need for a catheter.
I didn't have any pain, i was sore as hell. After 6 weeks I begin cycling again.
I know it's not the same as replacing everything.

Six weeks seems a long time if they only replaced the pump. Did they leave you inflated during that time?

My doctor who is one of the center of excellence doctors Loh Doyle at USC Keck asked me not to start cycling until I see him which was 6 week after the surgery.

Revision a year ago this month, pain, healing, and cycling was a whole lot quicker with little to no pain or swelling, sex in 10 days after surgery, (gently), A revision is nothing like the original.

BUT , you haven't had the first implant yet

who knows how long it will be to a second or if it's ever needed . Some get lucky and go 10 ,15 years .
