My wife really enjoys looking at the postings on this site, and occasionally will post things giving a woman's view. We understand that women posting on here is not encouraged. Therefore, we would like to suggest that one of the subsets on this site be renamed "Women's View on ED"(many are hardly ever used) and women be encouraged to post their views and perspectives on ED. This is very important and could be useful because ED has a big impact on marriages and relationships. In many cases just as much on women as men. I know from my experience how frustrated my wife was before I started to inject Trimix because the results of the medication were not that reliable in my case. Therefore, our sexlife suffer. Additionally, many women blame themselves when they incure a man who has ED and can't perform. They think its because they dont incite the man. From feedback from guys who read and post on here on my wife Karen's postings, I think this would be very useful and widely encouraged by the users of this website.Other wifes and GFs could be encouraged to post their experiences pertaining to their husbands and BFs having ED.

Re: Women's Views
Seems to me this topic belongs in the "Suggestions" forum. Maybe a mod should move it there?
In any event, at the risk of sounding sexist, and maybe I am, I favor keeping FT primarily a guy's place, and I favor keeping postings to guys only in the current forums.
However, I would have no problem with a separate forum for women to post their views, and for guys to interact with them there, if they want to.

Re: Women's Views
I would like to hear views of females on the effects ED has on the relationship. I think it would be helpful to hear from femails how they believe they may be able to assist in the recovery from limp dick syndrom.
Perhaps we could establish a Woman's View Forum which they could subscribe to and which the male members could also interact. I am sure our female partners would have a lot to teach each other and learn from each other.

Re: Women's Views
When we have the funding (and this would be a wonderful time for those who support this idea to endow the project), we will create a separate site for partners of men with various sexual dysfunctions. The decision to make this board male only was not done lightly. If you want to experience women's presence on a site for ED, please take a look at the following sites:
http://exchanges.webmd.com/erectile-dys ... n-exchange
http://www.dailystrength.org/c/Impotenc ... port-group
The fact that ED affects both partners is undisputed. However, there are already boards which include partners, so why duplicate them? The vast majority of issues that are raised on these boards are not ED issues, but RELATIONSHIP issues exacerbated by ED. So, the mission changes from ED to 'relationships and ED'.
Also, experience has taught us, that getting couples to talk about their situation and truly communicate is the real answer. All too often, we get one person trying to force the other person to do something. Again, that is not ED support or education.
And finally, since there are several boards for women, and FrankTalk is the only all-male board, why would we not preserve our uniqueness and do what we do best, which is to create a safe place for men to get support from other men about ED issues? And I suppose I have to pose the question - if you want to know a woman's point of view on ED, why not ask her directly?
Creating a place for partners is a great project. But, until we are funded, and out of debt, we cannot take on any other projects.

Re: Women's Views
I seldom see any issues with women's erectile tissue addressed. It's pretty obvious when we men have it, but I'm sure my wife also has it. She's in total denial about vaginal dryness, and I'm sure she had clitoral atrophy as well. She never lets me insert a finger or two and I suspect it's for that reason. Sorry if anyone is offended by this post, but I have been thinking about it for awhile.

Re: Women's Views
If you had an area for wives or significant others, you might reach more men.....and provide them with information. Not all men will participate in communication even in this website. Certainly most urologist don't bother unless there is money to be made for their time. I have been to 10 and am in a significant metro area. Mine (the best of the 10) had no interest in participation with this excellent group here. My wife does most of my medical research for me. I would procrastinate and neglect things.....maybe Catholic or Old School "trust those authority." She doesn't trust them to be on top of things and waits for them.
